Overgate Hospice provides expert care, support, advice, and information for patients and their families, carers, and loved ones.
Living with a life-limiting illness can affect a person in many ways. After being referred to Overgate, they will work in partnership with the patient to provide care and support depending on their individual needs. All of their medical and nursing care is provided by a highly qualified and skilled team who will work with the patient to ensure they receive a high standard of care.
Their team of doctors and nurses can help relieve a person’s symptoms, including pain management and fatigue, along with their Patient and Family Support Team who can help with adjusting to day-to-day life living with an illness. Overgate also offers Bereavement Support, Carer’s Group, and a Drop-In Service.
All their services are free of charge and are available to people living in the Calderdale area who are over 18 years old.
