Back and Better Event

The day was about fun and mingling, but more importantly it was about saying a huge thank you to our friends, family, suppliers and customers who assisted us. You have shown the team at Pulmans your friendship and support since the Boxing Day Floods of 2015 which affected Yorkshire and many other areas.
That is now behind us and in addition to saying thank you, we wanted to show off our new production machinery!The day consisted of food, drinks, a fantastic car racing competition and most importantly, an excellent guided tour of the works. Our new saws, plasma cutting machines and oxy propane machines were operational throughout the day and hopefully gave an insight in to our operations.
The team in the works took great pride at welcoming people into their domain and demonstrating our capabilities.
Speeches were made by David Shoesmith and Holly Lynch MP. David, who luckily is not a man for long speeches, kept it short but sincere, thanking people for their help and loyalty (view the video here). David’s speech was followed by a few words from Holly Lynch MP who has been a great advocate in helping businesses after the flood and pressing the Environmental Agency to create better defences for the future.
We may have had a dark start to the year but the future is looking bright and the Pulman’s team is more enthusiastic than ever.
Congratulations go to Stuart Taylor of Centa Transmissions who had the fastest lap time on the Racing Bug circuit and has been awarded the winners trophy.
