PULMAN Steel has invested over £100,000

PULMAN Steel has invested over £100,000 in its delivery fleet and service facility to keep up with British factory output.

Based in Sowerby Bridge, Pulman was launched 180 years ago and now has 12 wagons in its fleet. The family run company has also invested in a side tracker vehicle.

David Shoesmith, managing director, said: “British factory output has risen by 1.9% in June as declared by Office of National Statistics, so we are delighted to be doing our bit to help the economy with this investment.”

Pulman Steel supplies engineering companies, fabricators, local authorities and the building industry in the North and employs 65 staff.
