Project - Glamorgan Cricket Club, Cardiff
Back in March, Pulman Steel supplied Glamorgan Cricket Club in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff with thirty-two 50mm Open Mesh GRP Gratings in grey (RAL7040) along with M-Clip Fixings to replace the clubs old plywood panels which were used for advertisements. We love showing you are projects and this was the perfect opportunity to highlight our GRP range in all its glory!
About The Project
To summarise the cricket stand had some existing steel work that held some plywood sheeting to which the advertising boards where attached.
The existing became a little tired and needed to be replaced, they replaced the existing with new steelwork based on a stronger design that could support the GRP panels which we supplied.
The GRP panels now support the signage and as the GRP is an open structure the wind loading was reduced as part of the design.
